Wellington's
Chase My Dust is a spitfire for sure. Full of energy when outside and
content to be cuddled when inside. He gives kisses galore. He was a
total surprise to me! I was wanting a tricolor Sheltie, but never
expected to receive one as a gift. He was actually an answer to an
unspoken prayer.
I was
editing the Wellington
Shelties site and thought the tricolor puppy named "Simba"
was gorgeous. I told his breeder, Teena, that too. I'm very partial to
tricolors because we had an oversized rescued tricolor named
"Tucker," who is now one of our Bridge Angels. When this
little fella came along I had thought to myself wouldn't it be neat to
have him, but never voiced that thought to anyone else. Lo and behold,
I received an e-mail one day asking me if I might be interested in
him. What do you think I said? First, that I was floored by the offer,
next that "yes" I'd love to have him. I knew all about the
responsibility of having a puppy. Yes, he would be our
"forever" companion.
Next,
after talking the offer over with my dad, we made arrangements with
Teena and her husband, John, to meet halfway to see Simba, who is now
"Chase." He is a Am
CH. Carmylie Nandina 'Scuse My Dust grandson on his sire's side
and a Am/Can
CH. Grandgables Black Street Boy grandson on his dam's side. I'm
very pleased with his pedigree. Matter of fact, I've had a blast
researching as much about his lineage as I can.
Getting
Chase is a major milestone in my life and a God send. My plan is to
get back into competitive obedience with him. Not only has he helped
me to make the decision to get back into life after my mom's passing,
but he has and does daily bring me a lot of joy! If you love tricolors
don't hesitate to write
me. I love talking about my Shelties and would also enjoy reading
about yours too.

Chase
